A Commitment to Empowering Lives Worldwide

About AdvoCath & Flo-Check
AdvoCath was founded by Christine McDunnough and Billy Vickers, born from firsthand experience with the challenges catheter users face every day. As a T6 paraplegic, Billy brings personal insight; together, we’ve spent years advocating for better outcomes through our nonprofit, Wheels in Motion.org.
Seeing—and living—the silent struggles of catheter users in homes, hospitals, and long-term care facilities, we knew something had to change.
From this lived experience came a clear need—and a bold solution: Flo-Check, a first-of-its-kind screening device designed to empower catheter users with timely information about their urinary health. Developed with precision and purpose, Flo-Check is protected by three issued patents and one pending, and is currently moving through the FDA 510(k) clearance process.
AdvoCath’s mission is to make Flo-Check the new global standard of care—reducing complications, preventing hospitalizations, and transforming both personal care and institutional protocols. With a multi-billion-dollar market and no direct competitor offering this level of accessibility and simplicity, the opportunity is clear.
We’re building more than a product—we’re building a movement to redefine urology. And we’re just getting started.
